A Safe Space
for Your Story

Man’s Search for Meaning
What is Cuore Therapy?
Cuore Therapy was born from the profound experiences of its founder, Veronica Corona Barker, during her volunteer work with 9/11 survivors in NYC. In the aftermath of the tragic events of September 11 2001, Veronica dedicated herself to supporting those directly affected.
Through her interactions, she observed that the traumatic events people endure have lasting impacts on their lives. She realized that the stories and experiences individuals carry before such incidents significantly influence their reactions and coping mechanisms.
Over the years, Veronica’s work extended to understanding the unique challenges faced by immigrants, recognizing that many carry trauma stories marked by grief and loss. This insight became the cornerstone of Cuore Therapy, which focuses on addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, particularly within the immigrant community.
